Corporate Initiatives

THOR Construction is committed to promoting sustainable building practices in the industry. From recycling in main and field offices to constructing all levels of LEED® Certified buildings, THOR is making an impact in reducing its carbon footprint in the World. The THOR Team includes many LEED accredited professionals and encourages others to become accredited. As a part of our dedication to sustainability we are open to suggestions on how THOR can further create a positive impact on our environment.

LEED Initiatives

THOR Construction understands what it takes to make a difference. Through the education of our people, we are setting the standard in the construction industry. Since the beginning of 2009, we have encouraged all THOR employees to become familiar with the LEED Accreditation and process. We have supported several individuals through the LEED AP program. With the increased knowledge base of our people we are paving the way for success on any type of project.

LEED Projects

With the support of our highly motivated team, THOR has had the opportunity to work on one of the largest projects in the world, CityCenter in Las Vegas, Nevada. A project with the magnitude such as that of CityCenter, has such an enormous impact on the environment that MGM MIRAGE Corporation decided to LEED certify the ten plus billion dollar project. THOR Construction has played a integral role in the construction. Below is a list of the LEED Certified projects we have worked on throughout the country:

  • LA LIVE Residence & Hotel Lobby - LEED Certification

Community Outreach
